The Lower Platte Archery Club was formed in 2005 to promote the sport of archery in Gretna, NE and surrounding areas. The club offers both Youth and Adult Winter and Summer Leagues. There is no cost for the Youth League! Instruction and some equipment is provided. Visit the Youth League Page for more details.
The club is a non-profit organization. All membership fees are used to maintain the summer and winter archery ranges, and to purchase targets (paper and 3D). Should the club dissolve at any time, all equipment or money held by the club will be turned over to the Nebraska Game & Parks Commission.
A Club President, Statistician, and Secretary/Treasurer will be elected every year at the winter meeting. These officers may call a membership meeting whenever a need arises. Decisions regarding dues, shooting fees and other matters will be made by majority vote of the members present at club meetings. Members will consist of the people participating in the summer and winter leagues.
Home range for the summer league will be the Larry Elston Archery Range at Schramm State Park. The summer league for 2013 will shoot on Wed nights, starting at 6 PM.
